KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

 

1. Provide technical support to SCI teams to design, plan, implement and evaluate trainings for community, teachers, and partner’s staff in areas of education, WATSAN, sustainable livelihoods, environment, NRM and health.

2. Identify and assess training needs of staff by conferring with managers and supervisors and lead design, implementation and evaluation of trainings for capacity building of SCI staff.

3. Develop ToRs for teachers trainings through PITE and or DTCE.

4. Coordinate with TVET and teachers training institutions (PITE, DTCE) and provide technical input in design & implementation of vocational trainings for youth and teachers trainings.

5. Provide technical support to senior manager education to develop training & education material (outlines, text, hand outs and manuals) to use used for capacity building of  teachers, government officials and community.

6. Provide support to SCI staff in cost effective budgeting for training activities.

7. Produce training materials for in-house courses as appropriate. Amend and revise materials as necessary, in order to adapt to changes.

8. Facilitate the execution of all training plans in office & field.

9. In coordination with M&E staff, develop effective plans & tools for effective evaluation of training and capacity building interventions.

10. Prepare training reports on various training activities.

11. Any other task assigned by COP or Sr. Program Manager

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 

Master's Degree in Social Science from HEC recognized University

At least 10 years of experience in development sector;

At least 6 years of experience in Training Sector;

Good understanding & practical experience of design, implementation & monitoring of training programs.

Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to perform;

Demonstrated ability to coordinate and liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders to achieve project results

Demonstrated leadership capacity to analyze problems and issues and to develop technical solutions

Ability to visit project sites in a remote mountainous areas as and when required; 

Ability and willingness to live in an isolated conservative environment in sub-office base with other staff;

Fluency in English ; Pashto language skills will be added advantage

Excellent formal writing skills in English and Urdu.
