Relevant Experience:

• Masters Degree in related field of study with minimum 10 years of working experience in development sector; • At least five years of senior management experience in project or organizational management, gender mainstreaming and working in a multi-cultural environment; • Good understanding of the project cycle, including project monitoring and design of project frameworks; • Excellent understanding of finance, budget preparation and grants management; • Excellent skills in facilitation, team building and coordination; • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams to meet objectives in and across multiple program areas; • Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to perform; • Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with donors, KPK government line departments and other implementing partners; • Ability to visit project sites in a remote mountainous areas as and when required; • Ability and willingness to live in an isolated conservative environment in sub-office base with other staff; • Fluency in English; Pashto language skills preferred; • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

 

Job Description:

1. Provide strategic direction and overall administrative and implementation management of projects and programs at SC Battagram Sub-Office; 2. Financial Management as Sub-budget holder; 3. Ensure preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual work plans for all projects/programs and collate these into overall work plans; 4. Conduct program monthly review meeting with the project managers and oversee progress toward achievement of planned targets in each project; 5. Oversee compliance of all program activities with Save the Children national and global policies and procedures and with relevant donor regulations and agreements. 6. Ensure full compliance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Terms of Reference (TOR) and Terms Of Partnerships (TOP) agreed and signed with partners and stakeholders. 7. Oversee the monitoring, evaluation and research activities of the program 8. Routine Coordination with Government line Departments, implementing partners, INGOs/NGOs and other stakeholders; 9. Compile narrative and financial reports and to assist in the collection, analysis and dissemination of research and other relevant data for COP to prepare monthly, quarterly, Bi-annual and Annual reports for donors; 10. Represent and conduct advocacy of various activities and programs initiatives. 11. Assist in partnership locally and nationally with stakeholders both in public and private sectors. 12. Assist COP in identification of needs and opportunities for program activities besides, facilitating in designing and development of concept notes/proposals to explore new opportunities. 13. Supervise and prepare Performance Appraisal of senior staff at sub-office level; 14. Ensure security of SC staff and property at sub-office level; 15. Any other responsibilities as assigned by COP.
